Her Majesty The Queen
celebrates two birthdays every year: her actual birthday on 21 April and her official birthday on a Saturday in June. Official celebrations to mark a sovereign’s birthday have often been held on a day other than the actual birthday, particularly when the actual birthday has not been in the summer.
With that in mind, what would you do to celebrate:
- The Queen’s “official” birthday in June
- Princess Charlotte, pictured above, turning 2 years old
- John Sutcliffe’s 80th Birthday! (John was born in 1943, don’t look too close at the math.)
- The 20th Anniversary of the vineyard (The first wine was made in 1997.)
